For Chamber Directors
How long does it take to set up my chamber's directory?
We build and launch your branded directory within 48 hours of signing up. We handle all the technical setup, hosting, and configuration. All you need to do is share the access codes with your members and watch them sign up.
How much does my chamber earn?
Your chamber earns $10 per active member per month, paid out quarterly. For example, if you have 50 active members, you earn $500/month — $1,500 per quarter. There's no cap on how many members you can have.
How does the directory appear on our website?
You have two options. First, your directory has its own URL at memberreel.com/yourslug — you can link to this from your site. Second, you can embed a branded banner widget onto any page of your website using one line of HTML code. The widget works in Duda, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and any website that accepts HTML.
Can I customize the directory to match our brand?
Yes. You choose from 20 accent colors that are applied to your directory's buttons, badges, play buttons, and category labels. The white background and card layout stay consistent, but your brand color makes your directory uniquely yours.
Do I approve members before they appear in the directory?
Yes. Every new member submission comes to your admin panel as Pending. You review their profile and video, then click Activate to make them live. You're always in control of what appears in your directory.
What fields are shown on each member card?
You control this from your admin panel's Field Visibility tab. You can show or hide: business name, owner name, phone, email, address, hours, employees, years in business, description, website, Facebook, and Instagram. Turn each field on or off with a single click.
What if a member stops paying?
If a member's payment fails, they receive an automated email notification. They enter a 7-day grace period during which their listing stays active. If payment is not updated within 7 days, their listing is automatically deactivated. They can reactivate anytime by updating their payment method.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment for the chamber?
No contracts and no minimum commitment. We operate on a month-to-month basis. If you ever decide MemberReel isn't the right fit, simply let us know and we'll close out your account. We keep it simple because we're confident you'll love the results.
For Business Members
How do I get listed in my chamber's directory?
You need an access code from your chamber director. Once you have your code, go to memberreel.com/join, enter your code, fill in your business profile, choose your plan, and complete payment. Your profile goes to your chamber director for approval — once approved you're live.
Do I need a video?
No. If you don't have a video, you can upload a photo instead and your card will still look great. When you're ready to add a video, simply paste a YouTube link in your member portal. The video plays directly on your card — no uploading files, no editing software needed.
How do I make a good 60-second video?
Keep it simple and personal. Film it on your phone in good lighting. Introduce yourself, show your business, and tell viewers what you do and why they should call you. Real and authentic beats polished every time. Upload it to YouTube (can be unlisted) and paste the link into your profile.
Can I update my profile after signing up?
Yes, anytime. Log into your member portal at memberreel.com/member using your access code and email address. From there you can update your video, photo, business description, hours, phone, address, and social links whenever you need to.
What is the Featured listing?
For an extra $15/month on top of your membership, your card gets a Featured badge, a highlighted red border, and appears at the top of the directory above standard listings. There are limited featured spots per chamber, so it's first-come, first-served. You can add or remove the featured upgrade anytime.
How do I cancel?
Go to memberreel.com/cancel and enter your access code. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your listing stays active until the end of your current billing period, then it's removed from the directory. You can reactivate anytime by signing up again with your original code.
